Knowledge and peer support for increase Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) in adolescents

Introduction: During the transitional period of reproductive function development, adolescents require special attention, one which is menstrual hygiene management (MHM). Teenagers dealing with menstruation have little information and understanding due to taboo assumption being more comfortable communicating peers. Therefore, this study aims explain relationship between knowledge peer support MHM in adolescent girls.
 Design Methods: This adopted a correlational descriptive design cross-sectional approach 122 students apublic Junior High School East Java were selected using proportional simple random sampling. Furthermore, questionnaire was as instrument measure variables level, support, MHM. Data then analyzed Spearman Rho Test significance level p<0.005.
 Results: The results showed that there significant (p = 0.000 r 0.619 0.534) Conclusions: Adolescent girls adequate better education about are recommended for adolescents.
